manna circle.
Find answers about circles and sharing below. The app’s Help menu has a guide to each feature.
Getting into your circle
How do I join a circle?
Open the invitation link a friend sent you, or enter their circle code in the app. If manna is installed, the link can open the join flow directly. You may need to sign in and finish setup first.
If the link opens this website, choose Open manna circle. If you’re installing for the first time, keep the code shown on the invitation page, then enter it after setup. The app is coming to the App Store; the download page will link to it when it’s available.
Why isn’t my invitation working?
Ask the circle leader for a fresh link or code. Leaders can replace a circle’s invitation code, which makes older invitations stop working. If the app doesn’t open from the link, open manna yourself and enter the code instead.
Can I create a circle or belong to more than one?
Yes. Circle creation walks you through the name, optional photo, time zone, sharing schedule, and other settings before you confirm. Use the circle-name menu at the top of the app to switch circles. Each blessing belongs to the circle you sent it to.
How do I change a circle’s settings or leave?
Open Circle settings. Leaders can change the schedule, allow late sharing, replace invitation codes, remove members, and transfer leadership. Members can leave there too. If a leader leaves, leadership passes to a remaining member. An empty circle is deleted.
Reading and responding
Where do I find older blessings?
Open Timeline. Scroll vertically through days and horizontally through people. Tap a blessing to read its full text, see media and Bible verses, or read responses. Each person’s lane starts at the day they joined the circle.
How do I respond to a blessing?
Use the response box on Today, or open a current-day blessing from Timeline. You can type or record a voice response with audio and a transcript. Responses don’t include photos or video. Earlier days are read-only.
How do Bible tags and versions work?
When sharing, choose a book and chapter, then select a verse or range and preview it. Change your Bible version in User settings; tagged passages display in the version you choose. Longer passages can expand to show the full text. Loading a passage needs an internet connection.
Keeping your blessings
What happens to audio and video after 30 days?
Blessing audio and video, and voice-response audio, have a 30-day storage limit from when each was sent. Timeline warns you during the final two days. Text, transcripts, Bible references, and photos stay in circle history. Save a blessing before its media expires if you want to keep a private copy.
What does Save blessing keep?
It downloads the blessing’s text, Bible reference, available photo, audio or video, and the responses available at that moment. Wait until the blessing is marked Saved. Later responses aren’t added to a manual save automatically.
The copy belongs to your account on this device. It doesn’t sync to another device or save media for other people. Uninstalling manna or losing the device loses those copies. Saving a photo or video to Photos is a separate export option.
Can manna save blessings automatically?
Turn on Automatically save locally during setup or in User settings. While the app is open, it saves visible blessings from your circles and refreshes automatic copies as new responses arrive. Open manna regularly; saving while it’s closed isn’t guaranteed. Locked blessings stay locked, and an individually unsaved blessing won’t be automatically saved again.
What happens if I turn automatic saving off or unsave?
Turning it off lets you keep all automatic copies, only your blessings, none, or a selection. Copies you keep become manual saves; your existing manual saves aren’t removed. Unsave removes that blessing’s local copy. If the original media has expired, removing your last copy is permanent, so check the warning before confirming.
Notifications and settings
Why am I not getting reminders?
Check that notifications are allowed for manna in your iPhone’s Settings, and check whether Focus or Scheduled Summary is delaying them. In manna’s User settings, each circle has separate switches for activity alerts and end-of-day reminders. Ask your leader to check the circle’s time zone and schedule if a reminder arrives at an unexpected time.
Recording or playback isn’t working. What should I check?
For recording, check manna’s microphone, speech recognition, and camera permissions in your iPhone’s Settings. You can still type a blessing. For playback, check your volume and connection, then try again. Older audio or video may have expired; a saved copy on this device can still play from its Timeline card.
How do I use the widget or Live Activity?
The Home Screen widget shows an active invitation or rotates blessings you can already see. Tap it to open the relevant screen. A Live Activity can show the active daily entry countdown; check that Live Activities are enabled for manna in your iPhone’s Settings. The end-of-day blessing doesn’t use a Live Activity.
Where can I change my profile or appearance?
Open User settings from the app’s menu to change your name, profile photo, Bible version, appearance, or app icon. Automatic appearance follows your device. The same menu includes Help, with a guide to each feature.
